Timing Module

Timing Modules are used in fixed networks that require very high frequency stability and low jitter performance to provide clock signal timing and synchronization in high-speed digita telecommunication, including SONET (Synchronous Optical NETworks), SDH(Synchronou Digital Hierarchy), etc. Basically, there are 4 operation modes in timing modules- Primary, Secondry, Holdover, and Free run. Inside the timing module, there is an OCXO or TCXO as the internal reference clock source. Timing module can meet Stratum 3 requirements under Holdover and Free run modes.
